Each month, Whitefriars Church, Rushden, holds a short local countryside walk (of about four miles) that are open to people of all ages and fitness levels, whether alone, or as part of a couple or a family. Here are details of our next events…
Sunday 9th November – I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD HAPPEN (ABOVE THE JUNCTION) - a four mile walk along footpaths and within woods in the hills above Clapham, north of Bedford. Meet in Green Lane, Clapham, beyond the Woodland Manor Hotel and Restaurant (MK41 6EP) in time to start at 10.30. Green Lane is off Clapham High Street (the former A6).
Sunday 14th December – MORE DEANS THAN THE CATHEDRAL - a four mile walk in countryside near Upper and Lower Dean, followed by Christmas refreshments. Meet at 10.30am at Grange Lodge, High Street, Lower Dean, PE28 0LL, in time to start at 10.30.
Our home group/discussion group continues to meet fortnightly (usually) from 7.30 to 9pm on a Thursday evening in Chelveston. All are welcome - please contact Andrew Presland (as below).
