APCM

Our Annual Parochial Church Meetings (APCMs) will be held on Monday 22nd April 2024 at 7:30pm in the junior hall of Whitefriars Primary School.

This is the time when church wardens are elected, when other officers are elected to the church council, and when the financial state of the church and the activities of the church are reported on.

There are two positions for church warden and three positions for elected members to the PCC available. If you feel called to either of these positions, you need to have been on the electoral roll of the church for at least the last six months, and you will need to be nominated by two other church members who have also been on the electoral roll for at least the last six months. Nomination forms for either position are available from Melvyn Hunter. Completed forms need to be returned to him before the start of the meetings.

All members of Whitefriars Church who are on the Electoral Roll are welcome to attend. All those who are on the civil electoral roll for Whitefriars Parish are also welcome to attend the first part of the meeting (when church wardens are elected).
