Older Generation
At Whitefriars, we really value the wisdom, faith and life experience of our older generations. We want to create space to keep growing in faith, build meaningful friendships and enjoy life together, while recognising the important part this generation have to play in the wider church family. We want to encourage one another, share what we’ve learnt along the way, and be spiritual parents and grandparents to those coming after us.
A friendly and relaxed group for those enjoying the later chapters of life. We gather once a month on a Friday afternoon. Each gathering is a little different, but there’s always plenty of time for coffee, a catch-up and a short reflection together.
This term we’ll be meeting in the Corps Lounge at the Salvation Army, 16-20 Church Street, NN10 9YT. Check out the events below to see what we’re doing in each session.

Home Communion
If you’re housebound or unable to get to church, Tim, our vicar, would be very happy to visit you at home and share Holy Communion with you. Please do get in touch with us if this is something you would like and we can arrange a time that works for you.
