Prayer is the heart of our church.

It is like the air we breathe – sometimes unnoticed, but without it we cannot exist.

Prayer makes possible our relationship with God.
It is not about many words.
Often it is more about listening.
It is not about clever words.
Much more about our attitude of heart. Prayer brings to life our church’s vision.

We pray :

Up worshipping God for who he is.
In for each other.
Down for ourselves.
Out for those who don't know Jesus.

Prayer takes place at Whitefriars in a number of ways: morning prayer, monthly prayer meetings, United Churches meetings and through the Prayer Room.
