Rushden lies approximately midway between M1 Junction 15 and the A1 at St. Neots. The town is primarily approached from the West along the A45 or from the North and South along the A6. It can also be approached from St. Neots along the B645.

Whichever approach is used, locate the roundabout in the centre of the town and turn uphill into St. Mary’s Avenue following the signs to Rushden Hall initially. Halfway up the hill a left and right kink turns into Hall Avenue.

Continue uphill round a long left hander and turn right into Barnwell Drive. At the bottom of the hill follow the bends to the right and left, then turn immediately right into Boughton Drive. Proceed up over the small rise and round the left bend reveals the Whitefriars schools on your right. The car park is past the Junior school on the right.
